  • Board President

Mike was born and raised near Long Prairie and is a lifelong resident of Todd county. He is married to Rachael, and they have 3 kids, Haylie, Preston, and Brianna.

Mike and his family are members of River of Life Church in Long Prairie. In his spare time, he enjoys working around the family farm, family camping trips to the Boundary Waters, deer hunting, fishing, gardening, collecting, and working on International Gas Engines, and Farmall Tractors.

Mike is an active Todd County 4-H volunteer and a Club Leader for the Wykeham Willing Workers 4-H Club.

He has been involved with the Todd County Ag Society for 8 years and served as President for 5 years. It can be very challenging to be part of the group that plans and holds the county fair, but Mike finds it to be so rewarding. On the last night of the fair you look back and see the success it was, which is a direct result of our wonderful community. Mike tells his children that when they talk about organizations, they are part of, “If you don’t put anything into it, you will not get anything out of it in return.”

  • Vice President

    IIIIIII.

  • Board Treasurer

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more.

  • Board Secretary

Katie and her family live in Long Prairie and she proudly says it is where she grew up.

She is married to Garhard Hendricks and they live on a hobby farm with their 4 daughters.  Katie has been a massage therapist for 8 years and has been running her own massage business for over 7 years.

Katie joined the Ag Society back in 2019, the year of Covid.  So unfortunately, they did not have a fair that summer.  She has since been an active member of the fair board.  And starting this year 2025, Katie holds the Secretary position.

Katie’s husband Garhard became a member a year before her, in 2018.  A seat became available the following year (2019) and she thought she would give being a fair board member a try, not having a clue what she was getting herself into.  Katie has zero regrets.  It has been a lot of hard work, lots of learning about herself and our community.  She feels pride and excitement when the midway is packed and the Grandstand seats are filled, everyone around is enjoying themselves, and making memories. It makes all the time, work and dedication worth it.
